As one of the first credit unions chartered in the Permian Basin, our legacy is extensive. Southwest Heritage Credit Union was formed April 28, 1949 as a member owned, not-for-profit, financial cooperative; offering share and loan services to 35 original members.

Over the past 60 years, we have grown in many ways. Presently, our membership is well over 6000, and at year end 2008, our assets were in excess of $51M.

We have embraced technology, and we strive to stay on the forefront of advancements. We have increased our products and services to offer value to our membership. Some of these include:
